Hypeddit alternative
The free Hypeddit alternative where SoundCloud gates still work
Since June 2026 Hypeddit can't enforce SoundCloud follows, likes and reposts anymore. On Valorizd they still happen, for real, before every download. Unlimited gates, free, and you can import your Hypeddit gates in one click.
Trusted by 1,400+ artists and creators. No credit card required.
What happened to Hypeddit's SoundCloud gates
On June 11, 2026, SoundCloud paused the API connection Hypeddit used to verify SoundCloud actions. Hypeddit's founder confirmed the pause came from SoundCloud's side. Hypeddit gates still display the follow, like and repost steps, but they are now optional: fans can skip them and still get the file.
For artists who used download gates to grow on SoundCloud, that removes the whole point. A free download that doesn't bring a follower is just a free download.
Valorizd's SoundCloud Connect integration is still active. The fan connects their SoundCloud account and Valorizd performs the follow, like, repost and comment through the official SoundCloud API before the download unlocks.
